The Lord Mayor of London’s Fire Fight Night

in support of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal, Firefighters and Grassroots Boxing

GUILDHALL

The CITY OF LONDON

8th OCTOBER 2025

THE EVENT

In partnership with the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Alastair King DL, we are proud to support a unique fundraising event on the 8th October 2025 - a black-tie dinner for 450 guests who will get to experience the exhilarating sport of amateur boxing. The theme is “London vs New York”, with London represented by the famous Fitzroy Lodge who will take on a team from the New York City Fire Department. Boxing legends will mingle with politicians and members of the City and Wall Street, whilst 100 additional standing only guests will also enjoy the boxing bouts, creating an electric atmosphere.

THE VENUE

Taking guests on a journey of nearly 2000 years… Guildhall is home to the City of London Corporation and is still the centre of government for the City. The impressive Great Hall of this listed landmark provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of combat sports and fine dining. In fact, during Roman times, Guildhall was the site of the largest amphitheatre in Britain and so is the spiritual origin of combat sports.

THE CAUSES

THE LORD MAYOR’S FIRE FIGHT NIGHT supports three vital causes. First, The Lord Mayor’s Appeal addresses pressing societal issues in London and beyond. Its primary charities include MQ MENTAL HEALTH RESEARCH, the UK’s leading mental health research charity and HOMEWARDS, tackling homelessness.

Second, the event supports the FIRE FIGHTERS CHARITY and fire community charities in partnership with the LONDON FIRE BRIGADE and the NEW YORK CITY FIRE DEPT. The FDNY boxing team has raised over $1 million since 1982 for firefighter rehabilitation and mental health initiatives. The have a simple and powerful motto…

“We will fight anyone, anywhere at any time… as long as it's for a good cause”.

Finally, we champion GRASSROOTS BOXING initiatives like Carney’s Community, which steers at-risk youth away from gang crime. young people develop discipline, self-esteem, and commitment while engaging with positive role models.

THE OppORTUNITY

Corporate sponsors, media partners, and boxing enthusiasts have a chance to support these life-changing causes. The event will be widely promoted, offering high-profile exposure and aligning brands with boxing’s values — respect, fitness, trust, and purpose. This evening will also honour the unsung heroes of amateur boxing, the volunteer trainers and firefighters who dedicate their time to shaping young lives.

THE BENEFITS

The Lord Mayor’s Fire Fight Night is a unique event and it provides unparalleled access to decision makers in the City of London; leaders from the world of finance, law, property, politics and commerce. We are currently in discussion with media companies to stream the event internationally and make it a real time global experience.

Join us in supporting this unique event that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
